Red, Red Wine

This past weekend we attended Red Wine & Blues, an event benefitting the Junior League of Albuquerque. I recently joined the junior league in an effort to meet new people and improve my new community. The League has made a commitment to "Kiss Hunger Goodbye" in Albuquerque and this is one of the many fun events that benefit ending hunger in ABQ. So, not only is it for a good cause, but this event was only $50 per ticket and, once you get in, it's all the wine and food you want!...I definitely got my money's worth ;) As with any event, my sweet husband asked what I wanted him to wear, but (since I've never been) I really didn't know. My motto is...it's always better to be over dressed than under dressed, right? However, here in big 'Burque, anything goes anywhere you go! So, we selected nice jeans with an oxford, and sure enough there were men in suits and there were men in hiking boots and hoodies...only in NM!


Michael and I had a great time!
